We did not intervene in Sudan and this is a growing producer in spite of the egregious human riots violations committed in darfur. I understand it's almost reflexive for african americans to blame someone else when some unexplainable issue confronts them but get your facts straight when assigning blame. This applies to when cops don't get indicted for shooting criminals in MO or the US intervening in another nation's affairs uninvited like Nigeria or Sudan.

She shrewdly brought some of the things the Chinese were doing to prop up the Sudanese Govt and successfully persuaded the nation's largest pension fund CalPers to divest of Chinese energy companies it was invested in particularly Petro China and the stock has never recovered. Many other socially conscious funds followed suit - It was a master stroke. The Chinese are 100pct responsible for the ongoing horror in Darfur because they furnish the govt with support - The govt in turn sells all their oil to Petro china and others Chinese corps like SinoPec. But their presence is felt all over Africa now on the East and West coasts. They are amoral in their support and provide aid and assistance to Govt's civilized nations have tried to marginalize. They also sell their veto vote on the UN Security Council which is another reason the UN has never had a meaningful presence in Sudan and other places that conflict with Chinese interests.

She shrewdly brought some of the things the Chinese were doing to prop up the Sudanese Govt and successfully persuaded the nation's largest pension fund CalPers to divest of Chinese energy companies it was invested in particularly Petro China and the stock has never recovered. Many other socially conscious funds followed suit - It was a master stroke. The Chinese are 100pct responsible for the ongoing horror in Darfur because they furnish the govt with support - The govt in turn sells all their oil to Petro china and others Chinese corps like SinoPec. But their presence is felt all over Africa now on the East and West coasts. They are amoral in their support and provide aid and assistance to Govt's civilized nations have tried to marginalize. They also sell their veto vote on the UN Security Council which is another reason the UN has never had a meaningful presence in Sudan and other places that conflict with Chinese interests.
