So, 3 months of shit, as opp. to year 'round? It still stinks. Pac NW climate is pour moi.

I love the winter here. Cold is still a novelty for me. Although gray skies can get rather tiresome.
Avatar 12:51am

NY is either freezing or sweltering...we have two-to-four weeks of "nice" days per year, let's be honest. Other people do not live this way! Some live worse....

Winters in NY remind me of Panic in Needle Park, Al Pacino in his tattered coat, desperate to cop. ...

I could do without the shorts, bugs, sweat, smell and horror of the summer as well. I prefer a comfy 35 - 65 degrees at all time. Is there a part of the world that only has that.. ??

I want to know this place too Bob. Would be nice if they didn't have spiders as well.
Avatar 12:56am
northguineahills:

I dig spiders, just not the bitey kind, Just had an allergic reaction to a bite last week. That was less then fun. (and I just rescued some baby spiders and put them out in my fire escape garden).
Avatar 12:57am
nanantatee:

yeah yeah
Avatar 12:58am

Oh leave the spiders alone! Kill the fleas, flies and mosquitos. It's all about who's the MOST annoying. Kill 1,000,000 gnats and they come right back, but do it ANYWAY.

nanantatee, I have been thinking about this song all week, you wrote "Mayo Thompson," so I ran and got it. Kismet!

No worries. Been out of work since xmas, and have two interviews I need to study up on. I'm a soccer nerd, so this damn WC is making it difficult. At least the missus is out of town. Dig the selection, Wm! (not usually awake at this time, damn insomnia.)

Avatar 1:26am

@Wm: (unfortunately not, don't tell her!).

Nope, Poland didn't qualify, so my hope to catch some Polish games in Greenpoint didn't pan out.

Avatar 1:30am

I took a shot - only Mexican woman from Florida who likes weird music that I know of. I'm sure there are many more, but yes, Adris is a rare Goddess! I got a re-used mailer from an eBay seller once that had her name and address on it. Super-weird coincidence. I resisted the temptation to stalk her as I was happily married at that time.

@blee heh heh, thanks. Having fun. I agree, Korium is very circular. The atmosphere reminds me of this barbarian-era Norwegian film I just watched, Flukt. The music had the ring of mountaintop Yore to it.
