Heya ndbob, and hi UM!
Need to be quiet for a while as I'm dealing with airlines for a client trying to access her recently deceased husband's frequent flyer miles.
So far American Airlines very helpful, United/Continental OK.
Air Tran - ASSHOLISH in every way possible.
Delta doesn't allow transfer/merge at all but suggested workaround if we can hack deceased's PIN #. In all cases simply getting to a human being is insanely painful & time consuming, I have stationed a stiff drink to my side :-)

My googling "siang sawan" only led me to find that this apparently means "Luminous Sound" in Thai and Pen-ek Ratanaruang did a short segment in a film about a blind pianist called that. Which reminded me of "Monrak Tranistor" that he did--has anyone seen that? it's a pretty fantastic Thai music love story. It's dedicated to Surapoi Sombatcharoen...

But no. Just NO. I am setting alarm for 3 am & getting through , damnit, because dear god not everyone has a friggin' Harvard lawyer in the family, and elitist ties should not be a prerequiste for decent customer service, let along contract honorship.
