Hey DJ Nick Name Hope you have fun tonight. I'm a little punchy and thought you said you were going to play some Tapioca Pencil from the new bin, then realized I should probably get on to bed now.

Nick Name:

Hi Whooda, ha ha…. i think Brian Turner (Music Director) will have that next week for us in the new bin! have a good rest / weekend

Nick Name:

well there is, but, not the full band , the split years back still weighs heavy on one of them
  12:34am
P-90:

proggy-liscious!

Hi P-90 !

P-90:

Sorry so late. I missed Tapioca Pencil?! Worse, I missed something described as "Proggy-liscious". Thank you archives! What was Prog-o-licious?

Was "Meaner Pencil" the "Tapioca Pencil" Mondegreen?
  1:40am
P-90:

Yo Droll! Actually. it's been a very progga-lacious trip since midnight, you WILL dig the archive. Of course, even as I'm commenting about the prog-flavored first half, I hear Capt. Name sailing us in a different direction, more funka-liscious than progga-delic, but also most pleasing...
  1:41am
P-90:

@DJ NIck & @Droll: yeah, we did find some kind of Pencil there, didn't we?
  1:50am
Nick Name:

@ P-90 : blame Whooda , he started it , and now he is in the land of nod

The album version of that Touré number I just found seems to have Dave Matthews on it, most unfortunate, that live cut was super.

Medusa is making me see tracers. I can't find squat out about this band with the Google, so this album probably is simply being hallucinated.

Thanks fleep! I grew up in Chicago and I can't tell you how many ads I ran or responded to in the Illinois Entertainer that did not end with regret. Considering such a cool sounding record wash shelved almost 40 years is certainly regrettable. I got a great laugh being reminded of that kiss-of-death rag.

I did grow up there and left because between the hoodlums and the cops it was impossibly violent. I moved after a neighbor (a state cop cop no less) kicked in the windshield of my car. I eventually made it to Seattle where I don't have to put up with bright yellow sky thing.
