Listener comments!

  8:12pm Robert:

Not cereal, but close: biscuits, which they tried to get called such instead of cookies. I don't remember the brand, despite the song, named for 2 people.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:30pm dale:

so are people dressed as flappers or steampunks and waltzing and jitterbugging at a meetup?
  8:37pm Dave in PA:

hearing a lot of background noise today... intentional?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:40pm dale:

it's live in a bar dave. microphone in the horn picks it all up
  8:45pm Robert:

I was just going to remark about how funny some of the background sounds come out when reflected off the bell. The bell seems to pick off some of the highs and given them an extra buzz like SSB.
  8:48pm Robert:

You guys commenting or listening understand why the bar's called Hill & Dale, don't you? It's a way of saying "monaural". The grooves in a stereo record are pitched 90 degrees opposite each other on each side, so as to propagate normal to each other up the needle, while in a mono record they need only be up & down, hence hill & dale.
  8:52pm Robert:

"Chinatown" sounds like "Canada", with "all around" sounding like "Ottawa" to increase the misimpression.
  8:52pm Dave in PA:

reminds me of the time Aunt Bee got drunk on Snake Oil and sang Too Too Tootsie Goodbye....
