@Droll: Actually early Frampton, which is generally not bad. The guy was in Humble Pie, after all.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:36pm

wow. I've honestly only ever heard that one song off this Free album
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:38pm
pacific standard simon:

Frampton's duet with Chris Spedding on the Monk tune "Work" (from the Hal Wilner tribute) was totally knockout! I'd be a big fan if I could find more Frampton stuff like that.
Avatar 10:38pm
Dave Mandl:

At their best they were very good (Free). Paul Kosoff was an outstanding guitarist. Died much too young.
Avatar 10:39pm
Droll:

DM's ready to thrown down the gauntlet. Frampton also played on the disco Sgt. Peppers, so cool/huh? conservation is maintained.

PSS, I've heard that about Frisell and Wikipedia concurs, but it doesn't translate into more local shows. Maybe you'll see him at the T&C or Safeway someday? I used to live on Bainbridge back when there were 3 ferries an hour. Not sure how folks do it nowadays.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:42pm
Mike East:

I'll check them out, DM. I totally ripped them off with a song I wrote called "She's Ok (and I'm alright)"
Avatar 10:43pm
Dave L.B. is Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Humble Pie!
...Sidenote!: Frampton's dad was a school art teacher who encouraged the young Bowie to maybe pursue creativity...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:44pm
pacific standard simon:

Three ferries an hour?! Please excuse my skepticism. Bainbridge is more of a Seattle suburb now than it ever has been before, and the only times it could support even two ferries an hour would be morning and evening rush hours.

At the Archive sale, two guys were looking in the F bin, and one asks the other, "Hey what band was Frampton in before he went solo?" The other has no idea, so I imposed myself, and said, "Oh, you mean The Herd" He looked at me like I was on drugs.
Avatar 11:02pm
Droll:

PSS, The ferries used to be subsidized by the state HW department like a bridge, public opinion about that changed and they nixed the third boat in 1999 or so. There was also a housing cap at the time, it was a different place.
Avatar 11:02pm
