Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

Favoriting July 4, 2013: Down Home Fishin'

Track
Down Home Fishin'
This is an improv piece done on my laptop using various voices that drifted in and out of character unintentionally. I don't really fish anymore but the fishing motif allowed me to tap into rural characters that I remember from my childhood and the times I spent in adulthood in rural locations. I have an affinity for such things, as you know. I also enjoyed, perhaps most of all, making the faux commercials. I hope you enjoy this piece which I fear will probably be lost and under-listened to as it aired on July 4th when listenership is less than usual. Thanks for your continued interest and support. Take care and always remember ... Clay Pigeon - NYC - 7-8-13

i used to spend holidays up in roxbury/margaretville where he is. roxbury has a baseball team that plays in 19th century clothes and equipment. handlebar mustaches are optional i think. that area is yard sale heaven on weekends, too.
