Philip, why rigging, masts?
  10:15pm
Destroit:

So good,
  10:16pm
Philip Sanderson:

Why thanks casualinternetjunkie, for tech types out there you are hearing an English sequencer (Rota-synth), a little German synth called a Nanozweg, all fed through a vintage MicroSynth pedal from Electro Harmonix (out of New York) and then a couple of delay pedals

Philip, besides the LP on Puer Gravy, what is happening in your universe?
  10:24pm
Bruce (in San Diego):

Wonderful. Love it. It's background music right now cuz I'm working, but I'm pretending that I'm there.
Thank you.
  10:24pm
Philip Sanderson:

There is a watery theme running through from the early days with Under Press of Sail and bright Waves from Reprint. Then Offshore with David Jackman. Seal Pool Sounds has Seal Pool Sounds and Flume etc etc. All a bit odd as am useless on a boat
  10:28pm
Philip Sanderson:

Well Daniel Storm Bugs have also been back in action - we did a gig in Nottingham back in February and another one is planned for July. You can read a review of the Nottingham gif in the April issue of the Wire

Not that much more vintage Bugs in the box but some other tracks recorded with Michael Denton from 82-86 might get an airing in the next couple of years. also be good to compile all the Sanderson/Jackamn work on one release.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:52pm
D. Blumin:

Yes! Played Terrain two weeks back - fer news of just such a comp and such, where should be go?
And while we 're at it, for the folks listening and thinking that they'd like to know more about the UK cassette underground from the early years, Philip, where would you recommend people look/start? Labels you'd point people to?
  10:55pm
Philip Sanderson:

For info on Snatch Tapes check out Snatch Tapes website. Some great blogs like Mutant and Die or DIY that have posted lots of tapes in the last couple of years.
  10:56pm
