  12:09pm
Chris from DC:

Ditto
  12:10pm
jeff-m:

  12:10pm
Van in Dallas:

Same here. Hi jeff.
  12:13pm
Ike:

I can dig it.
  12:14pm
Parq:

Not the first time for me, but a rare oppurtunity to be sure. Looking foward to this.
  12:16pm
12539:

Syrup surprise! Is Bryce okay?
  12:17pm
Hugo:

First time for me at an "accessible" time. That Root Strata label looks mighty interesting.
  12:20pm
jeff-m:

Bryce is doing just fine. Just visiting a friend is all.
  12:21pm
Carmichael:

I'm a newbie as well. Ears are perked.
  12:28pm
Steffan:

Sorry, but after 15 minutes of "Song #3" by Tarentel i completely understand why people - especially the dreaded baby boomers - laugh when we pretend we actually like this pretentious crap. LAZY PROGRAMMING.
  12:28pm
northguineahills:

That was the first time I've heard Keiji Haino do just vocals.
  12:33pm
elliot:

just got back from being in the hospital for the last few days - pulled the IV, came home and plugged WFMU feed into a Jomox T-Resonator. perfect salve processing Jeff's set thru modulating filter/delays... Good to be alive
  12:36pm
dave:

steffan, you probably should stop pretending to like things if it's causing you this much stress. just listen to stuff you like and stop fretting about what the baby boomers (really?) think of you. they can't hurt you. honest.

myself, i liked the taratel piece a lot. also, elliot, that t-resonator idea is brilliant, and this is the perfect kinda stuff for it.
  12:38pm
rich:

fm xmtr problems? off air before, now again?
  12:39pm
Snortley:

91.1 transmitter appears to be down. Signal strength is zero.
  12:39pm
jeff-m:

hmm, yeah they are trying to fix air signal right now.
  12:39pm
northguineahills:

Cyclobe, not to be confused w/ Cyclob.

Good to know you're doing fine over there, elliot.
  12:40pm
elliot:

Must me my T-Resonator.....
  12:40pm
Liz B.:

We are experiencing power outages at our transmitter site.
  12:41pm
Liz B.:

All webstreams and our 90.1 FM signal are doing fine. Static at 91.1 FM until the PSE&G gods smile upon us once again.
  12:42pm
Steve:

Liz!
  12:48pm
Ike:

I love pretentious crap.
  12:49pm
still b/p:

Proud to be part of the PC crowd.
  12:50pm
rich:

yer back!
  12:51pm
northguineahills:

I love crap, and I love pretension, ergo, I love pretentious crap.
  12:51pm
rich:

and (sorry but) yer beautiful!
  12:52pm
12539:

I like hearing things I don't like among the things I like hearing.
  12:54pm
BSI:

whoa! Can I still jabber obsessively about the curry I'm not getting 'cuz I'm nailed to these GODFORSAKEN headphones? ... Or perhaps I just did. Please continue.
  12:56pm
Chris from DC:

Ooh, good call, haven't heard this FSA for awhile.
  12:56pm
dave:

i love love love FSA. Thanks!
  12:56pm
Andrew:

Hi Jeff & everyone. I just woke up & got on here. Cyclobe track was great. ^_^
I heard Noise & Syrup a few weeks ago. Good show!
  12:58pm
northguineahills:

Yaye! FSA, I was just thinking of them when I was driving through FL the other day and saw a post-sunset dusky sky that looked liked the s/t FSA album cover.
  12:59pm
still b/p:

BSI -- We're enjoying lightly spiced priten chuskhrap here today!
  1:00pm
Snortley:

Signal's back!
  1:01pm
northguineahills:

w00t, going to go see Robert Ashley's "Automatic Writing" at St. Mark's church tonight!
  1:02pm
glenn:

googling priten chushkrap brings zero results. what is it?
  1:04pm
BSI:

Clearly this lunchtime standoff will come to a gruesome end. Lentil goop from somewhere, and t-shirt destined for the laundry pile.
  1:05pm
Joe D.:

Bryce/Kurt murder-suicide huh? I always knew it would end in tears.
whats up Jeffffff awesome to hear you during the day!
  1:06pm
glenn:

as opposed to the much rarer suicide- murder.
  1:08pm
kiemzi:

hi jeff! me & my soda pup are really enjoying your show!
  1:10pm
still b/p:

glenn -- speak the lunch order quickly a few times and vary the emphasis...a silly variation on what consumers/listeners commented on a little earlier.
  1:11pm
crazy me:

and ALWAYS ask for Diet water
  1:11pm
glenn:

oh. now i get it. sometimes being a literalist has its drawbacks.
  1:14pm
Carmichael:

Or ice water. With ice.
  1:14pm
Snortley:

Committing the suicide before the murder has its drawbacks.
  1:15pm
Carmichael:

OK, did the sound just jump speakers on me? Bizarre effect.
  1:16pm
glenn:

hence the rareness.
  1:17pm
Booby Traps:

We have assisted in many a suicide-murder
  1:18pm
crazy me:

i have caused many of both...or threats there of
  1:18pm
Van in Dallas:

It could be that "they" finally came to take Bryce back to his home planet. http://www.flickr.com/photos/wfmu/5455594397/in/set-72157603873576097/
  1:20pm
dave:

between that kouhei matsunaga/asmus tietchens split and the eleh 3cd set, important records is really killing it lately.
  1:21pm
dave:

... where "it" is my bank balance.
  1:23pm
jeff-m:

yeah, I really want that 3cd Eleh set. Thanks for reminding me about it
  1:28pm
dave:

imprec's twitter sez it's going fast, so you might want to get it soon. 'course, they'd be motivated to say that...
  1:35pm
jeff-m:

the Eleh stuff always goes really fast so might be right
  1:40pm
Derrick S.:

Noise and Syrup live? What a treat! Hope to see you back with a regular show in the near future, Jeff.
  2:03pm
Pedant:

That's WMFU Mount Hope, not WFMU Mount Hope!
  2:23pm
BSI:

hope mounts internal.
or something.
  2:26pm
Rodney Trabb:

Great show, Jeff. Great hearing this while at work. Making the day go by very quickly.
  2:32pm
jeff-m:

  2:35pm
BSI:

  2:42pm
Rodney Trabb:

Way to make it happen, Captain.
  2:45pm
George of Troy:

Echoing Rodney's comment here- Really nice set today, Jeff! This Hafler Trio is pretty amazing through headphones.
  2:56pm
northguineahills:

This set kicked ass today, Thanks Jeff!
  2:57pm
jeff-m:
