Favoriting October 23, 2011: The execution of the 100% Whatever concept: all instrumentals and spoken-word tracks!
Perfectly split down the middle!

(Image borrowed from The New York Public Library Digital Gallery.)
The description for the 100% Whatever program is: Music without words, words without music, and combinations therein. Tonight, this description is taken literally, as I play nothing but instrumentals and spoken word tracks! That’s right, get ready for vocal-free tunes from around the globe, mixed with melody-free voices of all stripes; including poetry, audiobooks, self-help tapes, numbers stations, comedy sketches, and my personal favorite: foreign language instruction! Listen in, as the long arm of freeform radio gets dislocated from its shoulder socket! (Or, as they say in France: Écoutez dedans, comme le long bras de la radio freeform obtient disloqué de son plot d'épaule!)
