A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

I really like the Telebossa songs you've been playing recently. If I've got any money left after buying expensive Grouper albums from eBay I might have to purchase.
  9:51am
pierre:

  10:05am
pierre:

@ trouble: first thanks for Julianna Barwick, i'm going to see her live in Paris on the 25th of may (if other frenchies are listening, its at the "Espace B" in the north of Paris) > exciting !

I was sure you knew Dominique A, and i was sure Dominique A was a wfmu listener. : )

As for Bashung, well i could reccomand anything, but my favourite albums are "Novice" (with Colin Newman from Wire), "Bleu Pétrole" (his last album), "Roulette Russe", "Osez Joséphine", and "Fantaisie Militaire", i'd say, but again i'm no specialist.

The best band in Australia ever was a band of aboriginal warriors who resisted British rule. All right, I just made that up, but it would be pretty cool, yeah?
  10:36am

I think I need to get some Ronettes for driving music.
And I like sapce and east fo the river nile. Trouble's poetry -- or peotry -- of transpositions.

  10:39am
pierre:

@ Jennique : ? Augustus Pablo was called an assahole ?
  10:40am
dc pat:

  10:57am
dc pat:

I have no freakin idea why I like this neon indian tune. This almost sounds like something by 10cc from the 70's.
  10:58am
Jennique:

@ Pierre - I dunno about Augustus Pablo. Perhaps he has been called an asshole in his lifetime? All I know is Pablo has NEVER been called an asshole, and the girls turned the color of an avocado when he drove down the street in his El Dorado.

héhéhé thanks Jennique !
i'd like to call myself a punk nerd as well, so i will learn, thanks to you…
