  9:26am Looms:

Morning Bob! That track by The Brain was amazing.
  9:28am David Rose:

Daddy's Gonna Tell You No Lie.
Great choice this Sat am, Bob.
  10:26am david in virginia:

My curiosity got the best of me and I did some research on the band The Brain.

http://www.answers.com/topic/the-brain-rock-band

I found a recording of "Kick the Donkey" on youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PA8vNbRfhiw
The same song showed up on Itunes as being by The Giles Brothers (who were later known as "The Brain")
and I bought it. I was disappointed to find out that the Itunes version is a totally different song than the one on youtube. Oh well.
  10:34am litmus:

SRC anyone?
  10:39am Irene:

I was at that fake Zombies concert! It was at Club Bene. No original members were in the band, although one of them had the same last name as one of the original Zombies. As I recall, Chris Bolger nearly came to blows with management as we demanded our money back. Cops were called, etc. Oh, and the music was really bad cover band fare. Quite a night.
