A multimedia artist interested in how technological advances can enhance psychological practices, in the early-to-mid- 70s Shavit was drawn to the burgeoning interest in biofeedback, fascinated that electrical sensors could not only send him information about his physical and mental condition, but also by the idea that it would then be possible to use his thoughts to control bodily functions that were giving less than desirable readings. Shavit’s aim? To induce “alpha mood” – that is, total relaxation. I haven't seen one of them since I worked at one in 2000-01.
Small electronics store with three locations locally (Metro Electronics).
Business started by two brothers initially an electronics repair store. Got into videos in the 80's. Eventually folded.
There was a Hollywood Video nearby, they're gone for years now as well.

But if we want to protect our rights to read what we want, then getting the right people into the positions to fight for it is critical. Much of this nonsense starts at the local School Board level. It's your tax dollars so it's cheaper to vote in the right people, than to have to pay lawyers to fight the perps in court.

I love hearing this old music ( and Indian classical) and picking up or getting reminded, rather of rock and roll riffs and psychedelic rock guitar. Rock and roll is hundreds of years old.
