simply adore Los Diplomaticos. you see their stuff in the states often with the name changed to Los Millonarios, so if you ever see either out there, I recommend picking them up. never expensive

Cumbia almost took off again in Mexico recently. It was all over the trendiest bars, restaurants and dance parties. I think interest died out though.

/i went to a microbrew place in pachuca once that only played britpop. (they hated morrissey).
