The "Bing bing bang" takes me back to about ten years ago, when I worked at a small bar in Long Island City (not there anymore). I would often put on the song "Television" by Robyn Hitchcock while I closed, sometimes on repeat, and the chrous is "Bing-a-bong-a-bing, bong, bing bong." One of the cooks, who barely spoke any English, started singing "Bing-a-bong-a-bing, bong, bing bong" to me with a big grin on his face every time he'd see me. To this day I have no idea if he was making fun of me or if he liked the song. (Probably making fun of me.)
