aloha, coelacanthØ. he was driving. not at the time, but i'f\d have to day ingerneral /usually, yes. he was an angry person, especially if i was annoying him, or demonstrated that i knew something he didn't. for example, i once used the word irrelevant... he tried to tell me it wasn't a word. 🤦🏻‍♂️

"he was totally freaked".

i think it may have been... some green little station wagon (i forget what kind, but it was japanese and happened to be a lemon (i think it was one that was breaded with a familiar amrican. a dodge colt wagon maybe.

otherwise it was probablysome other mid-sized american car (used, and purchased from a neighbor who lived across the street). they ended up dumping a lot of money into it (the wagon), and it was still a POS/lemon. i felt kind of bad for them (my parents).

he did have a cool car though ( a little opel manta who's stick shift would flail areoud wildly from worn bushing, and a poorly tune engine. i loved that car. he has an 8track in it.... i think it was maroon too.

My parents always had a least one Volvo from the mid-'70s, when we moved to L.A., all the way up to 2015, when my mom's Volvo wagon died while I was driving it. Basically, the suspension fell out as I was attempting to exit a parking structure in Santa Barbara.
