	4:30pm Rob in San Francisco: perhaps it is more GN adjacent -- when I was a young college student I was involved with the anti-nuke group Alliance for Survival. Graham Nash and Jackson Browne did a few concerts to raise money for the group. I volunteered at one of these shows. At one point I was told to go do security at Graham's dressing room door. Apparently he got annoyed that the person there was letting everyone just walk in. So took up my post. A woman was about to walk in without knocking and I stopped her. She was very nice and said "I'm Susan, Graham's wife." I said well ok go ahead in. She was sweet and I asked if she wouldn't mind getting an autograph for me. She came back out in a while with the program signed. I also go J Browne to sign it as well. That was the same show that Springsteen was a guest - he walked by me and I asked for an autograph but his then girlfriend was dragging him along and he said sorry- I gotta go. If I had gotten caught asking for autographs I would have gotten in hot water but I couldn't help mysielf!

It is true her simple presence was different to how they'd operated before. & John was progressively less interested in Leading the band he (in fact) created. But that was a progression over years - starting in 1966 one thinks.

	4:30pm Rob in San Francisco: perhaps it is more GN adjacent -- when I was a young college student I was involved with the anti-nuke group Alliance for Survival. Graham Nash and Jackson Browne did a few concerts to raise money for the group. I volunteered at one of these shows. At one point I was told to go do security at Graham's dressing room door. Apparently he got annoyed that the person there was letting everyone just walk in. So took up my post. A woman was about to walk in without knocking and I stopped her. She was very nice and said "I'm Susan, Graham's wife." I said well ok go ahead in. She was sweet and I asked if she wouldn't mind getting an autograph for me. She came back out in a while with the program signed. I also go J Browne to sign it as well. That was the same show that Springsteen was a guest - he walked by me and I asked for an autograph but his then girlfriend was dragging him along and he said sorry- I gotta go. If I had gotten caught asking for autographs I would have gotten in hot water but I couldn't help mysielf!

'Abbey Road', later in 1969 was. & that's very 'George Martin' indeed. As for your take on Yoko there - hugely debatable - & debated. Most seeing 'Get Back' now come to the opposite conclusion. It is true her simple presence was different to how they'd operated before. & John was progressively less interested in Leading the band he (in fact) created. But that was a progression over years - starting in 1966 one thinks.
