in Buffalo we had a band called the Clock Exchange...tried to sound and look like Watchband...even borrowed their lettering for the drum face....they were really good band! And they got to open for the Headless Horsemen.....

May I recommend John Edward Beland's book. He was living on the streets in LA as a teen in 67-9 era as a homeless guitarist who did quite well in the end playing with many stars and member of Flying Burritos. His memories of those days are awesome.
