In a commentary made for the film Kenneth Anger said Mick was using a broken synth and looped the sound. I can’t fully remember what he said have to go back and watch it again haha. Yeah kinda weird to think about one of the first noise pieces made by Jagger. There’s also footage of him turning knobs on a giant synth on YouTube somewhere.
