(Although I did hear ABB play a local gig and I could appreciate why my peer group liked them.) Most (but not all) of my friends dismissed the Stooges as worthless.

	4:36pm WM: I remember... A friend of mine in highschool was a very talented musician and a huge fan of The Allman Brothers. I finally persuaded him to listen to Funhouse. He listened potentially to the whole record from beginning to end. Then he turned to me and explained in a sorrowful, serious tone how awful the record was and how I had no right to make critical comments on any other band. He lost all respect for me after that.
