The source for these Town Hall Party segments were kinescopes recorded off TV for the Armed Services Network. Bear Family in Germany put out a DVD years ago.

Yes, she did it after Elvis though. EP did it in the movie King Creole which is his best movie, IMO. He acts opposite Carolyn Jones and Walter Matthau. It's directed by Michael Curtiz who directed Casablanca among other great films.
