I was born in Dickson County TN in 1972.

Like so may of our neighbors my parents moved us north to MICH to work in the factories there.

We would often travel back for holidays and on the 12 hr drive between Detroit and Nashville my parents had a steady mix of classic country on the 8-track.

My sister and I had handles on the CB RADIO

Imagine 5 and 8 year olds chatting w the truckers about smokies at mile marker 18 on hwy 65.
