I have a funny story about X-Ray Specs. I was bartending at a local dive one afternoon and two very young (freshly 18, said their IDs) girls came and sat at the bar. They asked me if they could make a request for the music. I was like... um... I probably don't have what you're looking for. TO MY SHOCK they asked if I had any X-Ray Specs. and ofcourse, I said HELL YEAH and offered them their round.

I've never owned a copy of this album, nor made a point to listen to it - I don't have to. I think I pretty much have it memorized from hearing on the radio for 40 years. It's never dropped off. New generation of DJs play it and like your young bar customers, the kids still dig it. Never gets old.
