He had a weird period in the 80s where he moved to Europe and wrote a bunch of corny pop songs about various European cities
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:10pm
Sem:

Had some hits there, regional, mostly in Scandinavia.
wikithingy has a good overview of Sahms career.

↳ Song: "Reason to Believe" by "Tim Hardin"
I had no idea this wasn't a Rod Stewart song until I started on this episode

Sem:

""Reason to Believe" is a song written, composed, and first recorded by American folk singer Tim Hardin in 1965. It has since been recorded by artists including Bobby Darin in 1966, Karen Dalton also in 1966, The Youngbloods in 1967, Peter, Paul and Mary in 1968, Glen Campbell in 1968, Peggy Lee in 1968, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in 1969, the Carpenters in 1970, and Rod Stewart in 1971 and 1993. Wilson Phillips covered the song on their 1990 debut album." via wikithingy

I didn't know Tim wrote How Can We Hang On to a Dream until fairly recently. Only knew the Nice version.

Knew about Reason because I stared at the Rod Stewart album covers back then.
