I only know one real banjo player who plays traditional style. In going to the bluegrass shows I note that the clawhammer style seems to have the hand in a fixed position (fingers stiff) and moving the fingers to where they need to pluck.

Under the Boardwalk ... when I was about 6-7, my mother gave me 25c at Coney Island to get a hotdog, but I dropped it through a slate in the boardwalk ... I could see it from above but could not spot it when I went under ... I was in distress ... got my sister to come out of the water and we managed it and i got my dog ....

There is no under the CI boardwalk anymore as it is completely sealed off ...

On Friday night he rolled off the bed and hit his head very hard into the steel bed frame. 3 hours in the emergency room for examination and cat scan. Scat scan ok but big bump and pain. I did a book report on the Inuit when I was in high school. It was serious anthropology. so the author didn't shy away from the more odorous aspects of their life. I took great pleasure in all the gamey aspects of living in an igloo, and reported on it thusly. It was so lurid, I got an A, had to read it in front of the whole class.

@Tim, I needed one more elective credit for my undergrad, and took a Shakespeare class. It was eight in the morning and a summer class to boot, before going to work. I dreaded the prospect, but once I got into it, I loved it. The teacher grew up in Stratford on Avon and was really passionate. That class stuck with me.
