	10:23am Gerry from Miami: Bootleg versions of Steely Dan's "The Second Arrangement," along with a few other unreleased tunes, have been circulating on the Internet for some time. Apparently "Gaucho" was supposed to be a double album, but things got convoluted and difficult. Record company contract stuff was in the mix as well. So this latest "discovery" pops up due to the diligence of engineer Roger Nicholl's daughter. It was in the form of a DAT cassette. This latest rendering sounds better than all the bootlegs I have heard, but it is far from perfect and not up to the stratospheric standards of Becker and Fagen. Glad to have it, it's a great song and would have fit nicely on the original "Gaucho" release.

	10:23am Gerry from Miami: Bootleg versions of Steely Dan's "The Second Arrangement," along with a few other unreleased tunes, have been circulating on the Internet for some time. Apparently "Gaucho" was supposed to be a double album, but things got convoluted and difficult. Record company contract stuff was in the mix as well. So this latest "discovery" pops up due to the diligence of engineer Roger Nicholl's daughter. It was in the form of a DAT cassette. This latest rendering sounds better than all the bootlegs I have heard, but it is far from perfect and not up to the stratospheric standards of Becker and Fagen. Glad to have it, it's a great song and would have fit nicely on the original "Gaucho" release.
