That was my plan. I *think* we're going to be able to make enough drinks that they'll all go into muddles and garnishes. It's slowing down now. But we pulled about a quart off the canes when we got back in town on Monday.

Also, the liquor store did not have Suze! I made an emergency pivot to Pimms, and so far we're holding steady and within tolerances.

I'm kind of mourning a vacation plan we were mulling to take the train from L.A. to Seattle in September. But the fact that the reason we can't do it is that K8 got a new and excellent job takes the sting out somewhat.

Also, a train on that line apparently derailed today after hitting a truck.

We think so! She can actually get paid *either* by the DOE or by Bard College, which administers the school. Waiting to see which one will accept more of her experience and which would be best. Either way, it's a LOT more stability than we have had for ... ever!

It's the same kind of school but a different location as the job she applied for in January and came in second. THIS school realized what a good thing they had on their hands!
