I was terrified at first, but I decided to start cutting my own hair a few years prior to the pandemic, and then started going super-hard with it after 2020. I haven't gotten GREAT, but I'm not bad. I wouldn't cut anyone elses hair. I wouldn't want to ruin their deal. But I go out in public and I'm only slightly embarrassed. And that's my resting state, so I think its not the haircut.

It's sort of fun to try different things. I've been growing a devil lock the last several months, and I've got it down to my neck, now. You can just do whatever, and then shave it all and start again if you need.

I've been cutting my own hair for over 40 years. I used to have a super short pixie and I've even had hair that went to the middle of my back. It's fine and rather thin. Thanks menopause. I keep it in a medium bob. I'm due for a trim soon.
