Unreal. Way, way colder than normal. Supposed to hover around freezing in Oakland for the next week. My plants are done for haha. Last time I saw lightning in the Bay Area was August 2020, the epic storm that ignited the fires that year. The strangest part was all of that lightning but no thunder. Hadn’t experienced that before.

They are coming up through plumbing in a back, rarely used bathroom. It began with the heavy rains. 2x I've beaten them back. Usually diatomaceous earth drives them out. But, they seem to be immune to even that. These are very small pismires.

I did a show timed to the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' Ed Sullivan show appearance, and the point of it was to show how many great songs preceded the British Invasion. The Beatles were just the anointed leaders of a musical wellspring that already was in place.
