I know I get a lot of crap for this, but I don't know anything about Bowie, aside from a rudimentary outline of his career I've gleaned from rock documentaries, and the bit I've absorbed from living in the world. I'm not anti-Bowie... I just don't know, and never learned. He seems like a competent performer. He might go far, I think!

I will admit, I really liked Blackstar, as that got a MAJOR push when it came out. It's probably the first Bowie album I gelled with.

I'll probably freak out about Bowie someday... this always happens, and then I resent not listening more, earlier. My co-host on my Max Headroom podcast is doing everything in her power to turn our show into a Bowie podcast, so I'll probably get a full lesson from her sooner or later.

I remember that book about Hendrix. We used to have that at my old bookstore. Never read it, but at the time, my friends were all Hendrix devotees, so I think someone I knew had it.

I should dig out all the rock and roll comics I have. I know I have a set of Kiss comics I really enjoyed.
