The sight of the Japanese legend covered in his own blood gave several viewers heart attacks, and some reportedly even died... While touring Japan in 1965, Blassie met the woman who would later become his third wife, Miyako Morozumi, at a train station. However, later that year Blassie suffered from kidney stones and had surgery to remove them.
