I often couldn't tell the Friends of Distinction from the Fifth Dimension. Both cut quite a groove. I'll never be able to forget the Friends' "Going in Circles" because it was the song playing in the first strip club I ever stepped into with my friends on Christmas Eve (!) in 1969. We had just come frim seeing the James Bond film, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." Sacrilege, I know, but that's what memories are made of sometimes.
