I'm trying not to look at my computer much today as I am off of work and I am a full-time freelance medical (pharma advertising, so, double dose of satan?) editor so when I work, I am literally reading onscreen virtually nonstop for 8 hours or more. They want to maximize their use of us and it is hard to take sometimes. I mean, no human being should be asked to do that but they do, increasingly, just to make higher profit. I mention this because I saw Spodiodi talking about quitting a freelance gig. I have taken a few weeks off because I can and I am fried (and I am grateful I can).
