Hello, all! Today's playlist art is by William Fields.

Hi ho, Tony and all! Dig the trippy, detail-packed Fields art.
Avatar 11:54am
Tony Coulter:

Hey there, James!
Avatar 11:57am
Tony Coulter:

Today's show will be a sort of special: It'll be 99.9 percent psych and hard rock from the '60s and '70s, mostly from the U.S.
Avatar 11:57am
Tony Coulter:

Just because....
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 12:01pm

Afternoon Tone. And hello to all Coulter-based groovers.

psych us out, Tony.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 12:02pm

Oh, bonus on the sort-of special! I was already putting in the noise-blocking earbuds, but now I know it's gonna be a double treat!
Avatar 12:04pm
Tony Coulter:

Hey, hey, Mark! I was sort of psyching you out with that Zappa track -- because it's not psych.
  12:06pm
Mark Williams:

the ultimate psych-out move, Tony.

Sir Lord Baltimore! Hurrah!
This is one of the loudest mixing albums I know. I ALWAYS have to turn it down if it comes on the headphones. It's deafening.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16pm

Tony, i was thinking it seems that stained glass was content to not even touch upon their own identity on that one!

greetings David!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:21pm

i think the necromancer was subdued so these 2 sound loud
...to be clear about the necromancer, just because i think they were mimicking cream top to bottom - EVERY aspect (including the subdued production) doesn't mean i didn't like it!

My Lord Baltimore, prithee, preserve our delicate ears from thine thunderous tumult.

Little Fyodor:

Hi Tony! Enjoying the show! It was this side of your interests that originally led me to thinking you might enjoy Walls Of Genius, even though we were a decidedly looser and wackier take on this kind of thing. But then I thought maybe I'd throw in some of my solo work too, and I was surprised when you liked that, too!! Cheers!
Avatar 1:50pm
Tony Coulter:

Hey, Fyodor! My tastes are all over the place -- which has its downsides. I can't stop buying records!
Avatar 1:52pm
Tony Coulter:

And ... you are a great writer of three-minute "pop" songs ... so of course I liked your stuff...
  1:55pm

this is a pretty song (Dunn & Cruz).

@Little Fyodor - hey, a month or so ago when Tony played that Dan Susnara cassette, I think you'd tried to reach out to him. Any luck?

Started writing this comment when you played Stooges TV Eye and then work demanded my full attention until now.
Just recently heard a 2017 released jazz collaboration of Iggy with pianist Jamie Saft. Of the Ig's various none hard core rock collaborations it works the best to my ears.
jamiesaft.bandcamp.com...
I could imagine Iggy doing these tunes with a rock band as well as the fine recording by their composer pianist Saft.
